Like a frame, browing the door, platband carries out only decorative function. It can be hemispheric and flat. Cornices Cornice is also created for imparting additional esthetic. The door with cornice looks fully accomplished. Using such elements as cornice and platband you get homogeneously joinered. All metal parts of construction close and it brings the effect of integrity. For example, if decorative panel, cornice and platband are made of veneer, the door looks completely wooden. |
